The Second Pillar of Mentality Development is Education.
Education is a key factor, if not the most important tools needed to develop a personality and positive mentality in the world of today.
Although Education is a basic human right, millions are still deprived of this “common good”. Internationally, it is often emphasised, that everyone everywhere should be educated. In some parts of the world, at least basic education is free of charge.
Without education in the world of today, fulfilling life is almost impossible. Among the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs), Education is the fourth. In our opinion, without Education, all the other 16 SDG are bound to total failure.
Formal education is acquired through visiting institutions of learning like the kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and institutions of tertiary learning like universities, polytechnics, academies and institutes. Informal education entails all of learning that is done out of the said institutions. Apart from formal courses, many institutions introduce extracurricular activities, where informal learning can take place alongside formal education.
