Munyuy Mercy Vernyuy is a journalist and public speaker. After completing primary, secondary and high school in Kumbo, she did HND in journalism and Media at IMPACT Polytechnic Kumbo (Cameroon), after which she continued to a BA at the National Polytechnic University Institute, Bamenda. She is Country Coordinator of Life Education and Health Alliance (LEHA e.V.) a German based organization concerned about promoting education of young people in Cameroon.
Dr. Ayeni Gilbert Lawong is a medical doctor and surgeon. After attending primary and secondary school in Tatum and Kumbo (Cameroon), he studied medicine at the Rheinisch-Westfaeliche Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen (Germany). Following training as a specialist in general, visceral surgery and proctology, he works as a consultant at the Rafaelsklinik Muenster-Germany. Dr. Lawong is passionate about access to education for young people as he thinks that education is the only sustainable development we can give back to our (Cameroonian) society as individuals. Education is successful, when graduates get into fulfilling professions.
